The breeding season starts on the 15th of February and ends up on the 15 th of August. To visit our stallions during this time, we ask you to make a date.

We would be pleased if you respect the lunch rest from 12.00 till 14.00 h.

The order has to be placed latest until 10.00 am (on Saturday until 9.00 am). The following information is required: desired stallion, complete address of the mare owner incl. telephone number, name, identification number, date of birth, colour and pedigree of the mare, studbook, deviant delivery address where necessary.

The costs for the shipment will be invoiced separately and charged on the breeder. Please note, that it is possible to have weekend services, but the courier company will charge you extra. Holzeder will manage this directly with the courier company and charge the extra costs on the breeders invoice.

Shipping costs in Germany:

Fresh semen 35,00 €

Shipping costs to Austria:

Fresh semen 45,00 €

Shipping costs for frozen semen, or to other than the mentioned locations, weekend prices and order for Alvarez and Casino semen are handled individually.

We offer the boarding fee for single stalls will be Euro 10 incl. VAT per day and 12 with foal.

The stallion owner is only liable for damage caused by wilful or gross negligence on his part or the part of his employees or assistants, This liability limit includes all damage that could arise during the stay of the mare

The mentioned prices are final prices including VAT and they have to be paid before the first insemination./ before the mare is taken home.

If one breeder brought more than one mare to our stables, we will offer the following discounts: the first mare pays the full stallion fee, and all following mares get a 100Euros discount on their stallion fee.

Mares which already have a discount ( from last year, not coming in foal) do not receive any additional discount.. For mares that did not come in foal, only half stud fee will be charged the following year. A veterinary certificate hast to be presented before the 1rst of October 2010!

All mare owners who have booked the stallions listed for insemination accept the Terms and Conditions for all present and future buisness transactions, having a breeding contract with Hengststation Holzeder.

Mares that are to be stabled in our stud do have to have a health certificate not older than 6 weeks with a Coggins test, excluded are mares in the first season after birth having a healthy foal at her side. A veterinarian may be called in at the expense of the mare owner deemed necessary by the stallion owner, Whenever possible the owner will be informed before.

All necessary documents have to be handed over before insemination is started. Stud documents will be handed over to the association as soon as the mare is pregnant and the fee has been paid completely by the mare owner.

The transport containers and the evidence of dispatch of the semen have to be handed back as soon as possible to the stallion owner. If it is not handed back after maximum 2 weeks, the stallion owner is allowed to bill the transport containers.

The place of performance and venue is the domicile of the stallion owner.
