Florestano is son of the legendary Westphalian Florestan I, who is also sire to the GP stallion and federal champion Fidermark and of three young horse world champions (French Kiss, Florencio and Fürst Heinrich- all approved). The approval of Westphalia in 2004 was an exclusive festival for Florestan I.
The great quality of Florestano’s dam line is the same dam line of two approved stallions; Parodist I (Warendorf state stallion) and Action Pur (Internacional jumper approved for Oldenburg), this horse is competing with Marco Kutscher and won at barely 7 years old the final of the Youngster Tour in Neustadt Dosse 2005.
Florestano won his 30 day performance test in München Riem in 2002 with very good scores (8.61 in dressage and 8.86 in jumping) demonstrating an exceptional willingness and a first class jump in free jumping.
Florestano won the state prize for 5 year old stallions in 2004 in München-Riem.
In 2004 Florestano won two qualifications for the federal championship for 5 year old horses in dressage and came in 10th place. He only came out to the ring 3 times in the whole season. Owing these successes to the conscious preparation and intensive training for 14 days with Uwe Schwanz.
Florestano is the sire of high quality dressage horses one of them being the Asutrian Champion of colts. In 2003 and 2004 Florestano was the sire of the most expensive foal in the foal auction in the state stud in Landshut.
During 2005 Florestano’s successes continue, with only one week of intense training, and only coming out to the arena once he again won the qualification for the federal championship for young 6 year old horses.
...also winning level 4* competitions in an exceptional way with his rider Uwe Schwanz.
In the 2005 federal championship, Florestano participated in the final of the best 15, having won the above mentioned qualification.
Florestano’s offspring, at present 3 and 4 year olds are very successful in young horses competitions and the mares their correspondent tests; this way giving their sire an index of 152 points in the F.N. dressage stallions qualification, classing him within the best 1% out of the more than 3500 approved dressage stallions.
Flohmeyer ( Florestano x Weltmeyer; z.: W. Regele, Mahingen ) has been approved with a special prize in Kreuth.
