Excelent sire and great sports horse

A son of Alexis Z, international jumper and much recommended stallion, sire of famous horses such as Apricot D, Amaretto D, Alexa and many other internationally successful horses.

His Dam is a daughter of the legendary Holstein Landgraf I and was a very successful competition horse before breeding. Her grand dam (mother’s line) is a mare bred with pure French lines and has been an advanced level jumper. In posterior generations we again find French lines from Ibrahim and Ultimate xx through H Quellen, same lines as Alme Z. These genes are duplicated en Alvarez’s pedigree.

Alvarez is a very athletic horse and in his youth won a series of competitions up to level GIII (32 first prizes) and was second in the Audi 2000 young horses championship in Münster.

At only 6 years of age he started competing at international level with his rider Florian Meyer zu Hartum (Pontederia/ITA). After regularly competing at national and international level, this duo won third place in the Youngster tour in Rulle 2002. Second place in the Oldenburg Stallion championship during the Oldenburg CSI and another second place in the CSI**/A Coruña Spain. All of this demonstrates the quality of this stallion.

Offspring

Alvarez has sired sons that are winners of jumping style and young horse’s competitions, participants in federal championships, winners at GI level and participants in the Nations Cup.
